It is the most famous beach in Galapagos and one of the 10 best beaches in the world. Tortuga Bay is an amazing place and to visit this beach you will have to walk around 2.5 KM.

The road is a bit long, but the reward of seeing the turquoise sea at the end makes it totally worth it. What you will see when you arrive is what we know as the Brava Beach and as you can intuit by its name, it is an ideal beach to surf because of its strong waves, this area is not recommended for bathers. So enjoy the scenery a bit and then continue walking to the right, until the end.

Here you will find a natural pool where you can bathe and if you take snorkeling equipment you can see turtles, sharks, rays and reef fish. The best thing about this beach is the landscape, the colors of the sea, the white sand, you can enjoy everything with tranquility.

To make this visit you will have to be prepared with water to drink and food if you plan to spend a lot of time there. This beach is open to the public from 06h00 to 17h30 so you should plan your visit with this in mind.
